About DAC Education Ltd

Delivering Accredited Courses

in First Aid, Health and Safety and Mental Wellbeing

There are certain core values that a person must hold to decide to educate themselves further in whichever field they choose. Different personalities are suited to different vocations and DAC Education was founded by our Managing Director based on his own core values. Giving others the benefit of personal experiences that are difficult to learn at school, at home or even at work.

Having instructors who have been global expedition leaders, ex Army medics, ex military and active Search and Rescue personnel, makes the real life experiences in emergency situations add the extra confidence to our training, plus it makes for some engaging stories to tell you!

The task of a DAC Education instructor is make the learner become knowledge and confident in the subject they are presenting, not to pass a test at the end. We train and look to our instructors to be confident that when a learner finishes whichever course, they do with us. They are more able and more confident to get involved with a situation and affect a better outcome.

At DAC Education we certainly don’t just talk at you or sit you through a boring powerpoint presentation, no-one really takes that information in, but if you really get involved, you are more likely to recall the learning. For example our outdoor first aid training course is taught outside! It may seem odd for us to make this one of our gleaming selling points but you  would be surprised how very few training providers actually teach their outdoor first aid course outside.

"The instructor who's life experience, knowledge and brilliant teaching style helped make the time fly by.

As I am normally very uncomfortable in these role play activities this smoothly executed course gave me the confidence to say I can enter an emergency situation and help someone potentially in a life threatening position."

Would eagerly recommend the course to anyone interested in emergency first aid, it was very helpful in raising my confidence in the subject and giving me the skills I require as a first aider at my place of work"

Seasonal NCS Staff

I for one was expecting this first responder course to be the standard turn up and sit there bored for 3/4 day , but the trainer made it a course that was exciting and worth while listening to . The fact that he does a lot of mountain rescue means he could understand a lot of the stuff that we deal with on a day to day basis”
