First Aid for Farms

First Aid for Farms

These courses are suitable for farm workers working with heavy machinery, livestock or working alone in remote areas in far from help environments.

Farm workers are highly skilled individuals with a great amount of sense and knowledge, but accidents do happen and machinery does break or livestock step backwards on to you.

When these unfortunate incidents happen it can take a much greater time for the emergency medical services to reach an individual.

Both courses delivered nationwide at your location with a minimum of 6 learners, or join one our scheduled courses at our training centre in Suffolk, find course dates here

"I just wanted to thank you for a very successful and well received training event. I received very positive feedback from all, which I wish to pass on, there were lots of discussions around implementation, this is all such a positive way forward for the Farm Teams."

Level 3 Lone worker seriously injured - Delivered to the University of Reading - Centre for Dairy Research

Lone Worker seriously injured

Farm workers = Lone remote workers, with industrial machinery in a far from help environment.

Lone workers can face a range of challenges and risks, including accidents, injuries, and health emergencies. They may also be more vulnerable particularly if they work in isolated or high-risk locations. Employers have a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of their lone workers, which may involve providing training, equipment, and support to help them manage risks and respond to emergencies.

How a lone worker can help themself while help is on the way.
